Chapter 7

Indigo swayed her hips and put on a sultry smile as she approached the two men. It made her sick scenting them. The terror of their victims seeped from their pores and she knew that these men were sick, twisted, and downright evil. She could also smell the weed, alcohol, and sex around them. They weren’t working right now but celebrating or taking some time off. She had no doubt she could get in with them by acting like some chick who wanted a good time.

When she finally reached the two she stopped in front of them and linked her hands behind her back. Not only would that draw attention to her chest, where their attention was already centered, but it made her look just the right amount of naïve for her purposes.

“Hi,” she said shyly, and looked at the ground while glancing up at the taller man. He seemed to like her presence more than the other one.

“Hey there. You lookin’ for something?” the man asked and the lust that came off of him was strong enough to knock her over. She looked at him and glanced down again playing coy.

“Well, someone told me that you guys knew how to have a good time. I was hoping to have a good time, so here I am.” The taller man grinned at her.

“I’m Jed and this is Billy. I can definitely show you a good time.” Jed looked her up and down and his lusty scent intensified. Indi made to go through the warehouse door when Jed stopped her with a hand on her arm. He shook his head at her. “Not here. If you really want to party I know a better place.” The scent that came from Billy now was one of pure lust and evil. Indi knew that these two had probably taken many young girls to have a good time but that was the furthest thing from the truth. The truth of what they usually did to a woman came to her and she had to control herself so she didn’t outright kill these monsters.

Indi put on her best innocent smile and agreed. She was led to a truck and sat in the front passenger seat with Jed driving and Billy sitting behind her. She knew that her mate and the others were following her and she was sure they were going to be furious with her for going with the hunters but she had no choice. She could feel that every decision she made was leading her closer and closer to finding Dahlia. Indi felt a kinship to the other woman that she couldn’t explain and wanted to find her just as much as the rest of her family and friends.

After about a half an hour drive they pulled up to an old farmhouse. There were no lights on inside and Indigo didn’t sense anyone besides them there. She hadn’t expected them to take her to wherever they had Dahlia but this place would work well for what had to be done next.
